Camp A Way

Take a look at what your friends and fellow campers have to say about our great park.

We want to give you the best camping experience!

We like to hear from you! At Camp A Way, we get to meet thousands of happy campers each year. Our goal is to make sure each of our guests has such a memorable experience that they can't wait to tell the friends about it; that their kids, grandkids, and dogs get excited when they hear that they’re going camping in Lincoln, Nebraska. You have many choices where to stay, but we want to be your favorite.

The saying goes “A person may forget the details, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” We strive to make all our visitors feel appreciated. Communication is key in creating and keeping Camp A Way a great camping experience. That’s why we are open about our policies and charges, why we follow-up and ask for input. Read our online reviews and a common theme appears: “We’ll stay here again.” We’ll soon be seeing our THIRD generation of families visiting us and we hope that you’ll make us a tradition too.

Excellent, really. We've stopped here after 10 weeks on a RV road trip and one of the best operated and clean campgrounds. Great rig layout with space and trees, easy access. Kids loved the pool, jump pad, water wars. Nice well-maintained grounds, close to highway but no real noise issues and location convenience outweighs. - Evelyn B

“The best campground we have been to!” We live a few hours from CampAWay, and try to make it here at least once every summer, if not more often. The kids LOVE it here. The pool is nice for everyone, and the kids really enjoy Water Wars, the rented bikes, the bouncy pad, the basketball hoop, the ping pong table, the game room, and the giant chess set. We've spent many hours as a family playing ping pong and chess! The campground is clean and well taken care of, the staff is so friendly that they seem like family, and the general ambiance is relaxing yet fun. CampAWay is easy to get to and in a great location for catching a Husker game or just hanging out in the Haymarket...if you decide to leave the campground. By the way, we have stayed with a small camper, a large camper, and stayed in the large cabin. We've had family and friends stay in both cabins. No matter where we stay, we've never had a bad experience. -RollingSuburban5

Stopped here 2 different times for 2 nights each. It is well planned out and the sites are large with plenty of shade from huge trees. It is one of our favorite parks and we recommend it to others. Lots of space to move the RV in and out of the site. The dog park is very large and nice. It is a lovely park to walk through with a variety of views. The bathroom is very nice as well as the laundry room. Staff are very friendly and it is family owned and operated. Plan on stopping again next year for 4 nights in a row so we can go to Council Bluffs. -hitcharide
