We had a great visit at Camp A Way! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The grounds are very tidy and there’s plenty of room for your trailer (with full hookups) and vehicle. They have visitor parking as well. There are great dog areas, a play ground, basketball court, outdoor chess, water games, and even a little train for the kids. It’s a great place to come if there’s just 2 of you or if you bring the whole family. We highly recommend checking it out for yourself!
We stay here every few months and are extremely happy each time! They have well maintained and clean camp sites. Very clean laundry, restrooms and game room. Staff are very friendly and helpful and depending on which month you go- they always have fun events planned for kids. They are also very pet friendly and have a clean dog park and lots of places to walk your dogs. We are never disappointed!!
It was a delightful stay and very packed camp ground celebrating Halloween. Decorations were amazing and the atmosphere festive, children have so many activities to do. It’s location is perfect to going downtown and to the University. At night the traffic noise is there, so ignore it! People are fabulous!
