1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Camp A Way website (campaway.com), making a reservation, or visiting our campground located at 200 Campers Circle, Lincoln, NE 68521, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms apply to all visitors, guests, and others who access or use our website or facilities. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Camp A Way website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material 
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website or its related systems
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the website
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to collect information from the site without prior written consent

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.

3. Reservations & Booking

3.1 Reservation Process

Reservations for RV sites, tent sites, cabin rentals, glamping accommodations, and golf cart rentals are processed through Campspot, our third-party booking platform. By making a reservation, you agree to both these Terms and Campspot’s terms of service. All reservations are subject to availability. A reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email or booking reference number.

3.2 Guest Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when making a reservation. Camp A Way reserves the right to cancel any reservation made with false or misleading information.

3.3 Minimum Age

The primary reservation holder must be at least 18 years of age. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of their stay.

4. Payment, Cancellation & Refunds

4.1 Payment

Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking, depending on the site type and dates selected. All payments are processed securely through Campspot. Camp A Way does not store your payment card information.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary by site type, season, and reservation length. The applicable cancellation policy will be displayed at the time of booking. We strongly recommend reviewing the cancellation terms before confirming your reservation. Cancellations made within the required notice period (as specified at booking) may be eligible for a full or partial refund. Cancellations made outside that window may result in forfeiture of your deposit or payment.

4.3 No-Shows

Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and do not contact us in advance will be considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable and the site may be released for other guests.

4.4 Rate Changes

Rates are subject to change without notice. Once a reservation is confirmed, the rate at the time of booking is honored for that stay.

5. Campground Rules & Guest Conduct

All guests are required to read and follow our Campground Guidelines, available at campaway.com/campground-guidelines. Key rules include:

5.1 Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in: RV Sites 1:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM Cabins: 3:00 PM Check in / Checkout 11:00AM
  • Early arrivals and late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur additional fees
  • Site assignments are at the discretion of Camp A Way staff

5.2 Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily
  • Generators must be turned off during quiet hours
  • Excessive noise, disturbances, or disruptive behavior is grounds for immediate removal without refund

5.3 Visitors

  • Day visitors must register at the office and pay applicable day-use fees
  • Visitor hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  • Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors

5.4 Pets

  • Pets are welcome and must be kept on a leash (6 feet or shorter) at all times
  • Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals
  • Aggressive animals may be asked to leave the property
  • Pets are not permitted in campground buildings, the pool area, or playground

5.5 Vehicles & Speed

  • The speed limit within the campground is 5 MPH
  • Vehicles must remain on designated roadways and parking areas
  • ATVs and off-road vehicles are not permitted within the campground
  • Golf cart rentals are subject to the Golf Cart Rental Agreement

5.6 Fires

  • Fires are permitted in designated fire rings only
  • Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving the site or going to sleep
  • Firewood is available for purchase at the camp store
  • Camp A Way reserves the right to prohibit fires during periods of high fire danger

6. Amenity Use

Guests may use campground amenities (pool, spa, playground, dog park, etc.) during posted hours. Camp A Way reserves the right to restrict or close amenities for maintenance, weather, or safety reasons without prior notice.

  • Pool and spa use is at your own risk. No lifeguard is on duty.
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area
  • Fun Passes and additional activity fees apply to certain amenities as posted
  • Camp A Way is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property

7. Limitation of Liability

Camp A Way, its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, our website or services
  • Personal injury or property damage sustained during your stay
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal data
  • Acts of nature, severe weather, or events outside our reasonable control

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camp A Way’s total liability for any claim related to these Terms or your stay shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the reservation giving rise to the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Camp A Way and its affiliates, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our website, your stay at the campground, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Camp A Way website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Camp A Way or its content providers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services, including Campspot for reservations. These links are provided for your convenience only. Camp A Way does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party sites. Use of those sites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Lancaster County, Nebraska.

We encourage guests to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before pursuing formal legal action.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Campground Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Camp A Way with respect to your use of our website and services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings.
